THE SOLID STATE CHEMISTRY OF HYDROGEN COMPOUNDS.

Abstract

Research on the interactions of hydrogen in solids is summarized and a bibliography of publications is given. New results are given for the permeation of hydrogen in platinum. An extensive account of the solubility of hydrogen in transition metals and alloys is presented. It is concluded that the screened-proton model gives the best account of hydrogen in these systems.
