NEURONAL OSCILLATORS,

Abstract

In order to identify the functional units of the nervous system a 'channel' from neurophysiology to behaviour must be found. It is contended that such a channel is to be found in the study of neurodynamics, 'the shifting harmony of subpatterns', using precise mathematical models based firmly on experimental data. (Author)
