THE RESONANCE FREQUENCY OF AN ANISOTROPIC FERROMAGNET.

Abstract

The magnetization and resonance frequency of an anisotropic ferromagnet are calculated by the method of rotation of the coordinate system. The relation between the resonance frequency and the exchange interaction tensor is derived, from which and from the resonance data obtained experimentally the direction of the principal axes and the principal values of the exchange interaction may be determined.
