AVION STABILITE VARIABLE (VARIABLE STABILITY AIRCRAFT),

Abstract

The report gives a general description of the first French variable stability aircraft. The aircraft was designed by the 'Centre d'Essais en Vol' and the 'Societe Francaise d'Equipements pour la Navigation Aerienne'. Modifications to the airframe of the basic production type Mirage III B were made by 'Avions Marcel Dassault'. The report also gives methods for calculating the gains and methods used to check the simulation. (Author)
