PROGRESS REPORT OF THE VIBRATION TASK GROUP OF THE S.N.A.M.E.,

Abstract

The commercial ship program of HS 2-1 Task Group (Vibrations) of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers and the 'Code for Shipboard Hull Vibration Measurements' and the problems associated with the development of 'Norms' of Hull Vibration are discussed. A review of the work accomplished since the 1964 meeting of the I.S.S.C. is given and future plans discussed. (Author)
