DETERMINATION OF CRITERIA FOR HIGH DENSITY CIRCULAR CONNECTOR AND SELECTION OF AMPHENOL ASTRO/348 DESIGN AS ARMED SERVICE STANDARD.
Abstract
The criteria for high density, circular, electric connectors was developed based upon the requirements of the armed services. Commercially available high-density connectors from 7 manufacturers were evaluated and the Amphenol ASTRO/348 connector was selected as the standard for the services. A procurement specification and its attendant drawings, covering the requirements was prepared. (Author)
