APPLICATION OF ACOUSTICAL FILTER THEORY TO HYDRAULIC SUPPLY LINES,

Abstract

This report outlines the fundamentals of the acoustic filter theory and its application to a hydraulic system. A simple filter specifically designed to attenuate pressure pulses at a particular frequency is described and the theoretical conclusions are compared with experimental results for this filter.
