METHOD OF OBTAINING NITROALCOHOL CONTAINING FLUORINE,

Abstract

Fluorinated nitroalcohols are obtained by the condensation of difluonitromethane with aldehydes or ketones in the presence of catalytic amounts of potash at a temperature of 100 to 120C in the course of six hours. The yield of the product amounts to 50 to 90%.
