STATIC RESPONSE OF A RAILWAY SIMPLE CATENARY OVERHEAD CONTACT SYSTEM.

Abstract

Equations are set up for the equilibrium position of a simple catenary system and for the perturbations caused by a constant disturbing force applied vertically to a given point of the contact wire. A computer programme has been written to solve these equations. (Author)
