VISCOELASTIC PROPERTIES OF RUBBERS AND GLASSES.

Abstract

This research was undertaken to study the viscoelastic properties of cross-linked rubbers in small shearing deformations, especially with dynamic measurements at low frequencies to investigate the dependence of mechanical losses on various aspects of the crosslinking, and to study the viscoelastic properties of glasses near the glass transition temperature.
