THIN-FILM SHIELDING MEASUREMENTS.

Abstract

The report presents the results of plane wave shielding effectiveness tests on vacuum-deposited metallic thin films. The test data is presented in graphical form for thin films of copper, aluminum, silver, gold, and nickel. Shielding effectiveness as high as 90 db was obtained. Discrepancies between theoretical values and laboratory data are discussed and suggestions are made for further work. (Author)
