CYLINDRICAL SHELLS DURING SUPERCRITICAL DEFORMATIONS,
Abstract
An investigation was made of the supercritical elastic state of thin shells after loss of stability. A new prospective method of investigation and calculation of shells is developed. A solution is presented in closed form of a series of difficult problems of the contemporary theory of shells. The account is basically elementary.
