ON THE ROLE OF A MOTOR LINK IN THE VISUAL SYSTEM IN OBJECT IDENTIFICATION BY ITS OUTWARD CONTOUR,

Abstract

The article deals with the proposed methods for solving the problem of identifying visual images. Motor mechanisms of the visual system are discussed. By proceeding from recognition of the role played by the motor link in the process of identifying contour images, the authors intended to design and check a theoretical model of a system that performs this process. Experiments are described and the model is discussed.
