AN ANALYTICAL FORMULATION FOR A SATELLITE GROUND-TRACE

Abstract

The report derives the analytical expressions for an earth satellite ground track for a general elliptical, a circular and a circular-synchronous orbit under the assumptions of two-body conditions and in the absence of perturbations.
