DIFFERENCE METHODS FOR THE INVISCID AND VISCOUS EQUATIONS OF A COMPRESSIBLE GAS.

Abstract

An examination was made of several second-order accurate schemes for the solution of one-dimensional flows containing discontinuities. Two problems of shock interactions were considered, and two generalizations of these schemes were used for the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations. (Author)
