DISTRIBUTIONS DETERMINED BY CUTTING A SIMPLEX WITH HYPERPLANES.
Abstract
A geometric derivation is given for the probability that a uniformly distributed random point in a simplex shall be on one side of a given hyperplane. The argument extends directly to several hyperplanes. (Author)
