A FORTRAN PROGRAM FOR THE CALCULATION OF COMPRESSIBLE LAMINAR BOUNDARY LAYERS,

Abstract

A FORTRAN computer program for the numerical solution of the compressible laminar boundary layer equations is presented. The method of solution employed is an implicite finite difference integration scheme, by which the velocity components and the temperature are determined in the physical plane. All possible boundary conditions and arbitrary initial conditions can be treated. The pertinent aspects of the solution are discussed in detail. Operating instructions are presented along with a flow chart and the listing of the program and sample calculations are included for check-out purposes. (Author)
