FIVE-INCH HARP SYSTEM. INITIAL TEST SERIES. FORT GREELEY, ALASKA

Abstract

The use of a 5-inch HARP system for meteorological soundings under artic conditions has been proposed. Feasibility tests for soundings to 200,000 feet (the present M33 radar limit) with present compatible payloads are discussed.
