AERODYNAMIC EXPERIMENTS ON AIRCRAFT,

Abstract

A non-technical article is presented explaining the usefulness and importance of aerodynamic experimentation. The paper gives general descriptions of the domains of aerodynamic experiments and the approaches to the measurement of aerodynamic forces. In discussing the methods for carrying out the experimental studies, the report gives brief descriptions of several modern research tools and techniques which include wind tunnels, pilotless electronic-controlled flying models, rocket trains and test pilot flying experiments.
