THE DIRECTIONAL SWELL SPECTRUM OFF BLOCK ISLAND,

Abstract

An array of four pressure gauges was used to measure the swell off Block Island, Rhode Island. The data were analyzed to obtain the directional wave spectrum. Resulting directional information agreed with visual observations at the time of the experiment.
