RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH TEMPERATURE, HIGH POWER RADIO FREQUENCY TRANSMISSION LINES FOR 350C AND 825C,

Abstract

The paper will describe the development of two high temperature, low-loss, coaxial cables for operation in the -65 to 350C and -100 to 825C temperature ranges. These cables were developed primarily for use on aircraft, missiles and space vehicles. The high temperature requirements exist because the cable path may lead from the relatively cool areas of cockpit environments to the extremely hot external surfaces of a vehicle.
