CELLULAR INSULATION FOR COMMUNICATIONS CABLE,

Abstract

The paper describes development in cellular insulation for communications cable by comparing the properties of BAKELITE DGDA-2580 with those of several other cellular products and with solid polyethylene presently used for telephone cable singles. Also presented are representative figures illustrating the economies of cellular insulation and a review of extrusion conditions for cellular insulation.
