HIGH VOLTAGE - HIGH TEMPERATURE RUBBER INSULATION,

Abstract

ANHYDREX XX is one of the new high voltage synthetic rubber compounds which have been developed to meet the need for a high-voltage rubber insulation, permitting higher conductor operating temperatures in wet or dry locations than previously possible. In order to withstand the increased severity of such service, it has been necessary to fortify the customary properties of the older types of high voltage insulation with improved behavior in water, increased ozone and corona resistance and with improved aging characteristics to insure stability for long periods of uninterrupted service.
