NATURAL AGING OF NEOPRENE JACKETED TELEPHONE DROP WIRE,

Abstract

Data is presented on documented samples submitted to natural outdoor aging for periods of seven to nine years. This time exceeds the average service life of weatherproofed drop wire. These data demonstrate that neoprene jacketed drop wire remains serviceable after this aging and indicate that it will remain serviceable for a considerably longer time. (Author)
