MEASUREMENT OF VOLUME RESISTIVITY OF PLASTICIZED POLYVINYL CHLORIDE,

Abstract

A test procedure is described for the determination of volume resistivity of molded slabs of plasticized PVC which is relatively simple. The procedure requires a small amount of test compound, and gives good preproducibility of results. In addition, these volume resistivity results show good correlation with insulation resistance results obtained on samples of insulated wire. (Author, modified).
