PROGRESS IN AIR DIELECTRIC CABLES,
Abstract
A number of different types of semi-flexible air dielectric cables have been developed recently. These designs all incorporate a means of continuous axial support of the inner conductor, together with an aluminum tube, copper braid or corrugated metal outer shield. Several of these constructions, their characteristics and advantages are described.
