CONTACT DIFFUSION INTERACTION OF MATERIALS WITH CLADDING,

Abstract

Consideration is given to problems arising from diffusion interaction between materials and their claddings and the film of condensate formed on their surfaces. Topics include: characteristics of diffusion in condensates formed on a hot cladding; diffusion of carbon from uranium carbide into molybdenum and tungsten; diffusion of carbon into zirconium and zirconium carbide.
