NUTRITION SURVEY FORT HUACHUCA, ARIZONA MARCH-APRIL 1966,

Abstract

Food intakes were measured in three military units (men) and in one WAC Company at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Total food intakes averaged 3881, 3886, and 3731 Calories/day for the three groups of men and 2846 Calories/day for the WAC Company. These intakes were considerably above the minimal allowances prescribed in AR 40-5. The edible waste averaged 15.3, 13.5, and 9.3% for the three groups of males and 21.9% for the WAC Company.
