CONSTRICTED HYSTERESIS LOOPS OF BARIUM TITANATE.

Abstract

An empirical analysis was made of the change in polarization with time for a constricted hysteresis loop at fixed field strengths. Synthetic constricted loops were obtained by placing two polarized disks in antiparallel and applying a high alternating potential. The loops were studied by means of oscillograms taken during the deconstriction period. Hysteresis loop theory was extended and equations were derived that partially explain the results. (Author)
