MICROTOPOGRAPHY OF THE BLAKE-BAHAMA REGION

Abstract

Sea floor microtopography has been shown to have an adverse effect on bottom loss. An attempt has been made through analysis of 12 kc PDR echograms to define (1) the range of wavelengths and (2) the origin, of corrugations observed in the Blake-Bahama Basin and Blake Outer Ridge provinces, as well as to delineate their areal extent.
