SOLAR RADIATION AND ATMOSPHERIC ABSORPTION IN THE MM WAVE REGION.

Abstract

Progress during the reporting period is noted in the following areas: Detection of both emission and absorption spectra by atmospheric ozone; Installation of the radiometer on the infrared trailer, and transporting of it to the Barcroft Laboratory in the White Mountains (cosmic background radiation measurements at 1.5 cm); and, emission spectrum measurements of the planet Venus.
