DEVELOPMENT OF A CONTACTLESS M-TYPE TRANSMITTER.

Abstract

Existing M-type transmitters all operate on principles involving the use of moving or rubbing contacts which are subject to wear and erosion resulting in degradation of performance and short life. The development of a contactless transmitter is described together with tests which were made to ascertain the probable overall performance that could be expected from production models. (Author)
