THEORETICAL COMBUSTION PERFORMANCE OF RAMJET FUELS: PROPANE,

Abstract

The report, the second of a series on the theoretical combustion performance of ramjet fuels (see also AD-657 150), presents some performance parameters for propane. Included is the flame temperature, air specific impulse, fuel weight specific impulse, fuel volume specific impulse, average molecular weight and ratio of specific heats of combustion products, and expansion ratio for propane burned in air at various conditions of pressure and inlet temperature.
