TACTICAL SUPPORT TRANSPORT AIRCRAFT STUDY.

Abstract

The study identifies the Tactical Support Transport (TST) aircraft mission and provides support for selection of a new TST aircraft program to replace the C117/47/54. It concisely presents the cost effectiveness advantages in retaining the TST aircraft organic to the Marine Corps. It recommends recognition of the TST mission and retention of the current C117/47/54 aircraft to perform the TST mission until a suitable replacement aircraft can be orderly programmed. (Author)
