METHODS FOR PHOSPHORUS DETERMINATION IN ORGANIC COMPOUNDS ON THE CENTIMILLIGRAM SCALE.
Abstract
Four mineralisation procedures and an alternative spectrophotometric finish were assessed by comparison with those of a method previously reported (see PB-169 458) for the determination of phosphorus in organic compounds. It is concluded that this earlier method is superior to all others considered for the analysis of unfluorinated compounds. Suitable, but rather less satisfactory, methods for the determination of phosphorus in fluorocompounds are suggested. (Author)
