SURVEY OF COMPUTER-ORIENTED METHODS IN SUBMARINE STRUCTURAL MECHANICS.

Abstract

A survey was made of several computer-oriented methods in submarine structural mechanics. The topics covered are finite differences, forward integration, finite element method, and linear graph theory. An introduction to the basic concepts of these methods and an extensive survey of their applications to the analysis of submarine structures is included. (Author)
