THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF A SATELLITE IN A SYNCHRONOUS CIRCULAR ORBIT.

Abstract

The current literature is reviewed and the natural environment at about 6.6 earth radii (from the center of the earth) is defined in terms of the thermodynamic variables, the geophysical variables, the electromagnetic radiation environment, the particle radiation environment, and the meteoroid environment.
