A HYBRID PARAMETER REPRESENTATION FOR TETRODE TRANSISTORS. PART I. THEORETICAL CONSIDERATIONS OF THE CHARACTERISTICS OF TETRODE TRANSISTORS. PART II. USE OF THE TETRODE HYBRID PARAMETERS IN THE SOLUTION OF CIRCUIT PROBLEMS,

Abstract

A 3 x 3 matrix representation for the tetrode transistor involving hybrid parameters has been devised which allows easy and accurate calculations of the behavior of the tetrode in any possible circuit configuration. The close agreement between the calculated and measured behavior serves not only to prove the validity of the representation, but also to indicate the accuracy and ease with which the individual hybrid parameters may be measured.
