Abstract

The document contains a historical analysis of social change in the Philippines and the effect change has had and is likely to have upon the aspirations, attitudes, and opinions of people experiencing the change. Data from a field survey are used to investigate the descriptive validity of various hypotheses. Descriptive material is provided to illustrate what change involves.
