ERROR BOUNDS FOR EIGENVECTORS OF SELF-ADJOINT OPERATORS,
Abstract
Error estimates are given for Norm(u sub i-phi), where Norm(u sub i-phi) is a normalized eigenvector of a self-adjoint operator A and phi is a normalized approximating vector. The estimates contain upper and lower bounds to certain of the eigenvalues of A together with the terms (A phi, phi) and (A phi, A phi). (Author)
