DIFFERENTIATION IN CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION,

Abstract

The following questions are discussed: What sort of cognitive organization do people have of their behavior toward other people, and of the behavior of other people toward them, in the various roles of a given social system and across systems, both at the normative and actual levels. How does this organizational pattern develop in the child and what is the influence of his culture on this development. What is different and what is similar between patterns developed in different cultures. (Author)
