THE STATIC AERODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF A VARIABLE SWEEP WING RESEARCH MODEL.

Abstract

A wind tunnel study was conducted to determine the effect of Mach number, angle of attack, and wing sweep angle on the longitudinal aerodynamic characteristics of a variable sweep wing research model. The study was conducted at Mach numbers between 0.60 and 1.15 and at angles of attack from -2 to 16 degrees. The report presents the data for the static phase of the investigation. (Author)
