SHAKEDOWN INTERACTION CURVE FOR A CIRCULAR ARCH,
Abstract
A shakedown interaction curve is obtained for a simply supported sandwich arch subject to a central concentrated load and a symmetrically applied edge couple where both loads are allowed to vary arbitrarily between independently prescribed limits. The solution is obtained exactly from below and is used as a reference solution against which an upper bound technique is investigated. (Author)
