A HIGH-RANGE-RESOLUTION RADAR: INTERIM REPORT.

Abstract

Basic components have been developed for a radar system with highly versatile wave-form capability. The power amplifier has a 600-Mc/s bandwidth centered at 3.2 Gc/s, prf to 30 kc/s, pulse lengths to 80 microseconds with duty-cycle upper limit of 0.03, and a short-time phase stability of 0.01 second. The first signal form to be implemented with the test model has been completed. (Author)
