METHOD OF OBTAINING FLUORINATED NITROMETHANES CONTAINING HYDROGEN,

Abstract

A method is given for obtaining fluorinated nitromethanes which contain hydrogen (for example, difluonitromethane and fluochloronitromethane) which has the distinguishing feature that a suitable nitro-halide-acetic acid (for example fluochloronitroacetic) is subjected to decarboxylizing by anhydrous potassium fluoride or water.
