PHYSIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF T23 TANK.
Abstract
The purposes of the research were: (1) To evaluate the present pilot model of tank T23 with respect to its physiological characteristics and limitations, including: size, shape and functioning of hatchways, seat design and adjustment, lighting, ventilation (from the standpoint of control of gun fumes and removal of heat), placement of sights and functioning of vision devices. (2) To indicate the nature and magnitude of the corrections to insure adequate characteristics and to define the limitations of these improvements.
