A TECHNIQUE FOR MACROGEOMETRY TERRAIN ANALYSIS.

Abstract

The purpose of this manual is to present a procedure for the analysis of terrain macrogeometry. Macrogeometry is defined as the gross topographic configuration of an area, and includes all attributes of the surface that are defined by the slope envelope generated by a 10-ft. contour interval. The results of such an analysis of the terrain provides one with a quantitative two-dimensional picture of the configuration of the area in question. (Author)
