A REPRESENTATION OF THE ANOMALOUS GRAVITATIONAL FIELD.

Abstract

M. S. Molodenskiy posed the following question: Is it impossible to construct on the surface of the sphere such a system of anomalies which would determine together with the field of the normal earth, the external gravitational field coinciding upon surface S (and consequently also beyond S) with the gravitational field of the real earth. In this article M. S. Molodenskiy's problem is solved positively. The proof shown is constructive from the point of view that it is simultaneously the algorithm of the solved problem. (Author)
