FORCE REQUIRED TO EXTRACT OBJECTS FROM DEEP OCEAN BOTTOM.

Abstract

A preliminary investigation of the force required to extract an object from the bottom of the ocean was conducted. Ocean depths equivalent to pressures of 3000 psi were simulated and the effect of soil type, object size and object configuration was studied. (Author)
