ESTABLISHMENT OF A STINFO PROGRAM FOR THE AIR FORCE AERO PROPULSION LABORATORY

Abstract

Basically the program consists of three main functions: literature searching, document acquisition and storage, and the dissemination of information. The procedures associated with these functions are described in detail and statistics are presented to account for the day-to-day activities. STINFO personnel, after establishing the program, are to train government employees in a six-month period to assume operation of the program after completion of the contract. Therefore, task descriptions and staffing requirements are included.
